| This is approx 30 years old and has certainly stood the test of time - sure it needs some work but look at the shape of the sofa - it still remains one of the most sought after designs in the market - perfect for those wanting to re-create the Chabby Chic style in their home. |
| Remember this is a Leather Chesterfield Sofa with a solid timber frame - this is not one of your cheap imitation sofas that will last a year or so before they start loosing shape - this will last many more years to come. |

| You don't have to use our delivery service – you are welcome to use your own courier (see below)
or collect in person (1 weeks notice is required) from one of our units in the North East (Skelton in
Cleveland). |
Our delivery service is as follows:
- We will always book at least one week in advance so you can make arrangements to accept
the delivery.
- The driver will also call when he is 30 mins away on the day so you can nip home from work.
- The vehicles are single manned but the driver will help where possible – however he will not
struggle on his own.
- The driver is not insured to enter your home or take items upstairs on his own.
- We offer a special rate of 50% for the second item (50% of the higher delivery charge) as
long as we deliver to the same address on the same day.
- All items must be signed for – we can not leave without a signature.
- We will only deliver to your PAYPAL address – if you want your purchase delivering to
another address we ask for proof that you live there such as utility bill.
- We do not deliver furniture to offshore UK postcodes as standard (exc Ireland where the
price is shown above) – if you do live in such a location please get in touch for a price.
- A 2 man room of choice service is available for double the delivery fee quoted (exc Ireland)
– this option is hardly ever used but the option is there for you if you cant offer assistance
with delivery.
- All delivery times are a guide.

price – we must advice you that we only insure your goods when our delivery service is used. Should
you choose another courier they will be asked to sign a declaration that the product is the same
as described therefore if there is any further damage when its delivered it is an issue between you
and the courier company in question – for this reason we do not wrap goods for freight – this is the
responsibility of your selected courier. |

- The majority of our goods are Second Hand, Vintage, Collectable or Antiques – as such they
are not new and the condition will not be considered perfect and without fault.
- We offer a 7 day cooling off period (only if the item is purchased using the BUY IT NOW or
SECOND CHANCE OFFER facility) – should you change your mind after delivery has taken
place (this includes rejecting delivery while the driver is with you) simply inform us in writing
(email will suffice).
- We will refund the original purchase price plus shipping – it is your responsibility to have the
item shipped back to us by an independent courier. Once we inspect the goods on return
we will refund your purchase.
- If the item does not reach us in the same condition it was delivered to you – we have the
right to refuse the return. We will store it for free for 7 days until you arrange collection
from us.
- You are required to continue with the sale should you purchase the item either by buy it
now or auction format.

Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008
The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 came into force on 26th May 2008.
The Regulations introduce a general duty not to trade unfairly and seek to ensure that traders act honestly and fairly towards their customers (we discuss the Regulations again below). It applies also to price indications that become misleading after they have been given, and to any indications given about the way in which a price will be calculated. |
Pricing
It is an offence under the Regulations for business sellers to give consumers a misleading indication about the price of goods or services, or the manner in which the price is calculated. Our prices are clear – the price of the item plus the delivery fee as shown in our delivery section. If we show a delivery price in the listing – this is for Zone 2. We offer a much reduced rate if you live in Zone 1. |
Business sellers
Under the Regulations, business sellers are legally required not to falsely represent themselves as consumers. We are a business seller. |
Distance Selling Regulations
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 generally apply to sales to consumers
made by sellers acting in the course of a business, which have been made at a distance. In other words, where there's no face-to-face contact between the seller and the consumer before the contract is made. The Distance Selling Regulations apply to items purchased via Buy It Now listings and Second Chance Offers on eBay.co.uk. However, they don't apply to auction format listings on eBay.co.uk.
The Regulations also provide a period of seven working days after the date of receipt within which the consumer can cancel the contract (often referred to as the "cooling off" period) and get their money back, including the original postage and packing charges. The consumer can be asked to return the goods at their own expense, but only if the seller informed them of this requirement before the contract was made (otherwise, the seller is responsible for collecting the goods). If a business seller has not provided the information required under the Distance Selling Regulations (as discussed above), the buyer will have up to 3 months to cancel the contract and get their money back.
The cancellation rights do not apply to certain items including software, audio or video recordings that have been unsealed, perishable goods such as food or flowers, or items that have been made to order. |
